Save our Bikes and Promote Sustainability
Help Furman Become a Bike Friendly Campus! Furman has always been focused on sustainability. However, biking on campus needs to much more convenient. With the addition of covered bike racks, Furman students will be able to keep their bikes dry and rust-free. This project will also provide crucial experience to physics and engineering majors, which is hard to come by.
The design and construction of these bike racks would be mostly completed by students with the oversight, approval, and cooperation of Physics faculty, Facilities Services, Housing and Residence Life, and the University as a whole. We believe we can design the bike racks using mostly sustainable material. Let’s fix this together. Learn more on our website.
