The Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities - The Shi Institute promotes sustainable human flourishing and provides students innovative ways to think and learn about sustainability, apply sustainability systems research to contemporary problems, and connect and collaborate with campus and community leaders.

The Riley Institute - Named for two-time South Carolina governor and former U.S. Secretary of Education Dick Riley, Furman University’s Richard W. Riley Institute advances social and economic progress in South Carolina and beyond by building leadership for a diverse society, hosting expert speakers to broaden perspectives on critical issues, supporting public education, and creating knowledge through community solutions-focused research.

Institute for the Advancement of Community Health - The Institute for the Advancement of Community Health facilitates high impact student experiences and community engaged research, with a commitment to health equity, justice, diversity. The IACH’s programs, courses, and experiences prepare students to enter and influence health professions with a comprehensive understanding of real time challenges and focused solutions.

The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship - The Hill Institute exists to develop innovative and entrepreneurially-minded leaders. Through bootcamps, workshops, pitch competitions, mentoring, co-working space, and internships, students are equipped to champion innovation within organizations or successfully launch social or entrepreneurial ventures.
