Class of 1991 – 25-Year Reunion
Homecoming 2016, November 4-6

Dear Fellow Members of the Class of ’91:

We “Had the Time of Our Lives” while students at Furman (cue theme to Dirty Dancing).  Soon, however, with your help, we will have it again.  The time has come to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our graduation from dear old F.U. (that is “F.U. one time, F.U. two times, F.U. all the time!”).

When six of us from our class recently met at Furman to start planning our 25-year class reunion, we learned a few interesting facts about our class.  There are 635 of us, and we are spread out over 34 states, the District of Columbia, Germany, Brazil, China, Cambodia, and the United Kingdom. Intrigued yet?

In the last 6 years, the best attended 25 year class reunion at Furman attracted 101 classmates. You know where this is going. We need to blow up that number for our 25-year class reunion! So, time to come home to Furman Class of ’91 for “the Time of Our Lives”!!!! Join our Reunion Class Facebook group, “Furman Class of 1991,” and listen to our class reunion playlist to keep up with all the excitement.

But how do we get back home to Furman?  Start today by saving the dates for Furman Homecoming Weekend 2016. Mark November 4-6, 2016 on your calendar.   Then invite classmates from ’91 to make sure they are planning to be there too!

REGISTER TODAY!  Events specifically for the Class of ’91 have been arranged by a small group of your classmates and include:

Friday, November 4

6 – 7 p.m.	Family friendly gathering before attending the Carnival on the Furman Mall. Join classmates at the Furman Paddock now run by Tupelo Honey for appetizers and refreshments. Dutch Treat.
7 – 11 p.m.	Float building and Family Friendly Carnival on the Furman Mall with events including the bonfire, float building, and the carnival with rides and inflatables. It’s fun for the whole family!
8 p.m.	Bonfire, Furman Mall

Saturday, November 5

11 a.m.	Department Drop-ins, Furman Mall
11 – 1 p.m.	Alumni Tailgate and Reunion Village, Furman Mall (Near McAlister Circle)
1:30 p.m.	Furman vs. Wofford Football Game
6 – 8 p.m.	Class of 1991 – 25th Reunion Reception – Enjoy reconnecting with classmates in downtown Greenvillle as you enjoy 360 degree views from the new Up on the Roof, Ruth's Chris rooftop bar and restaurant. You will not want to miss this event for many reasons.
7:30 – 10 p.m.	Furman on Main, the Official Furman Homecoming After Party, Village Green at the Courtyard by Marriott Greenville Downtown

Make sure Furman’s Alumni Office has your updated e-mail and regular mailing addresses to ensure that you receive all Homecoming materials on the horizon. Contact them directly to update your information at alumni@furman.edu. Check your mail in late August for additional Homecoming materials.
