Class of 1956 - 60th Reunion
Homecoming 2016, November 4 - 6

Special greetings to the Class of 1956!

Mark your calendars for the weekend of November 4-6! It is time for us to celebrate our 60th reunion! Can you believe it has been that long since we graduated from FU? That calls for a great celebration!!

On Saturday morning, November 5 from 9 - 11 a.m, we are invited to reconnect and reminisce, while we enjoy a wonderful breakfast together.  Join classmates in the Melvin and Dollie Younts Center for a brief program, a time to remember those who are no longer with us, a time to share memories and to catch up with ourselves in these 60 years!

Following our Reunion Breakfast event, also on Saturday, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., all alumni activities will take place on the Mall – a big tailgate party – with tents set up for each class and tents set up for departments so that we can visit with other classmates and perhaps see some professors from our department of choice.

All activities will take place on Furman campus!! Even though we attended FU during the days of divided campuses, the present campus is so beautiful and for those of us who have been there for various events, it is always gives us a sense of pride in our University. So, if you haven't been able to see the campus in recent years, this will be a good opportunity to visit – and have some great fun being together again after all these years!!

Many of you may already know that our esteemed presidents both of men and women's campuses, Howard Walters and Virginia (Ginger) Coleman Dixon made their transitions to heaven in February 2015 (Howard) and January 2016 (Ginger).

Be sure to register today! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Homecoming is the perfect time to send that special message of thanks to the University that gave you so much. Make a gift For Furman, here
