Furman Cougar Project Donation
The Furman Cougar Project is a research and education program that focuses on the ecology and conservation of cougars (AKA puma or mountain lion). Our research questions are many and varied, and, we use this research program as an educational and training resource. A primary objective is to engage Furman undergraduates in ecology, conservation, and the scientific process in a meaningful and unforgettable(!) way. We also use our research program to create educational and training opportunities for professionals and the public through lectures, tours, workshops, and media.
