It is not only a physical space, but a place that seeks to create an environment which fosters belonging, understanding, and education through high-impact programming and support. Staff collaborate with a variety of administrative units on campus to intentionally design a comprehensive, university-wide approach to diversity; facilitate equity, access, social justice, and inclusion; and empower students to build a diverse and inclusive campus community. This session serves as an opportunity to share programmatic efforts and support services offered within the CIC as well as connect parents to current student experiences on Furman’s campus.
