As a department, our mission is to support and affirm the ideals of Furman. While we continually seek to raise funds for the annual giving goals of providing scholarship aid, research opportunities, and study away experiences, there are often specific fundraising projects created to meet the various goals and needs of the University. We hope we can connect you with a project that matters most to you.
Joe and Diana Hurley Finance and Business Analytics Lab
The Joe and Diana Hurley Finance and Business Analytics Lab offers students the opportunity for hands-on training in the collection and assessment of real-time business data from a spectrum of industries and applications.
The Furman Standard
Furman professors, known for their almost sacrificial willingness to help others, often maintain lifelong relationships with their students, and alumni continually share stories of their mentor's influence. To preserve and build on this tradition, the university is offering professors greater support and expanded opportunities to pursue research, involve more students in their work and remain current in their disciplines.
Study Away
Over 50% of Furman students participate in study away during their career.
Riley Endowment
One of the premier centers for education and renewal, The Riley Institute calls Furman home.
Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities
Established in 2008, the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities has evolved into a powerful think-tank.
Benches and Branches
Furman is known for its campus beauty. You may honor a loved one, professor, or classmate through the commemorative Benches and Branches program.
